"After 19 years our south facing conservatory had developed a number of problems so in September 2025, we contacted A Rated Home Improvements to have it updated and transformed. From the outset we were very pleased with the way A Rated dealt with us. The standard of workmanship was excellent throughout always keeping us well informed. This combined with the work ethic and polite nature of all the workforce reassured us that we were in safe hands. All previous problems were completely rectified by the new construction. The new structure has been outstandingly good and we now have a much more usable space. During the winter the new room has been far easier to heat and in early spring/summer it has been a comfortable ambient environment. We had one minor leak in January after a particularly severe storm but this was quickly rectified by A Rated, as per their aftecare policy We are absolutely delighted with the construction and do not hesitate to recommend A Rated."

"From the initial visit by Anthony, the Company Director, everything was very clear as to exactly what work was entailed with installing all the new windows and new warm roof conservatory. When we visited the company premises, we were quite impressed with the set up and we agreed the date that the work would start and the time frame for completion. On the agreed date, the team of Anthony and Geraint arrived on time and immediately started changing all the windows. Both Anthony and Geraint worked non stop throughout the day, every day and were extremely polite and efficient. As planned, the work was started on the Monday and completed by Friday. We would recommend A-Rated Home Improvements to anyone who would want good quality products carried out efficiently The whole team, from the Owner to the team of installers were a pleasure to deal with. "Had all new windows and doors including a set of French doors in Feb 2021. Long story short is doors and windows are basic and aftersales support is only available after months of chasing. For anyone who wants more details, grab a cuppa and read the below - You need to be onsite watching the workmen installing the windows as they will do the quickest install possible not doing the doors tight to close the seals so there will be drafts. They also took a chunk of plaster off the wall and I offered to use my own filler but the installer insisted on using his... turns out he used epoxy resin that shrunk and is yet to go solid... I had this done in 2021. I have had numerous re-visits after me chasing continuously on a weekly basis as the French doors, and Front door are catching and are now marked from all of the scuffs from catching. I have now been waiting since mid Feb for them to come and sort this out again and still no one is doing anything... I have to chase yet again. I have spoken to Anthony the owner previously but am now being told he owns multiple companies and does not have time to call me back. I then had a call and a visit from the '2nd in command' Martin back on the 4th March where he asked me if I had paid half price for these given the state of the installs. Unfortunately this is where it still goes wrong as even with the '2nd in command' on board.. I am yet to have the work rectified. I have chased 3 times since and had another visit last week by someone who said that Martin had not ordered the replacement hinge that was broken or the replacement door handle and he also could not adjust the front door any further so also left it still catching. I was told last week that someone would be out on Monday 27th March but here I am... Tuesday 28th and I have had no contact from anyone."
