"Absolutely fantastic! Connected via the Moving Portal and it was a Survey (Level 2) which was carried out on the Friday and I had my report on Sunday!! Speed of service , was brilliant. Lots of red rankings on the survey but thankfully all things that were, were important things to regular keep on eye on and update as necessary rather than anything serious all minor but important repairs I or my family can do ourselves. Layout of report also quite good and having the matters for legal advisers clearly laid out helped my solicitors set up their enquiries easily! They also made a clear point of contacting the vendor directly when I gave the details of the estate agent as I only had those, but via the estate agent the directly contacted the seller to accurately book the survey to avoid any hassle that I myself hadn’t even considered initially, very impressed"

"Really disappointing experience with Ark Surveyors. Initial communication was very poor with Ark failing to provide an exact date for a level 2 home buyers survey we had requested. We had to chase multiple times over the course of 10 days, with vague commitments on timelines and expected dates leaving us in the dark. This poor communication in the lead up to the survey resulted in Ark giving the vendor, agent and us less than 24 hours notice that the survey would be going ahead. Despite this it was clearly communicated to Ark that the vendor would be available only after 12pm to provide access. The surveyor arrived at the property at approximately 11:15am, before the agreed time. They could not gain access, as expected. They contacted the agent who arrived at 11:45 to find the surveyor had left. Really disappointed with the whole experience, we are now trying in vain to get our money back. Would not recommend!"
