"We had a very disappointing experience with this electrical company. The quality of work was poor and several issues have left us with more work to fix their mistakes. A socket was caulked into the wall in a way that has made plastering around it very difficult. When the faceplate was removed, the internal wiring was found to be poorly secured, with wires already loose and coming out entirely once touched. We were also charged £718 for an additional day’s work that did not feel justified. The first electrician who attended appeared unprepared and unclear on the scope of the job. He spent around six hours replacing just four faceplates, and these were fitted in white rather than the gold finish we had specifically requested. The form sent via email was filled in twice and sent twice, but both guys didn't seem to have any idea of the work needing to be done. In addition, there was visible damage caused around one socket, including excessive cutting into the fireplace wall and an unnecessarily rough opening for the plug area. Overall, the workmanship and communication did not meet expectations and we would not use this company again."

He then talked me through the finished job, ensured to answer questions regarding other bits I was looking to get done around the house electrics and ensure the fuse box was capable to support. Quick, reliable and just a great experience from start to finish. Will be using again in a heartbeat.
