Austen Allen

"Great service from the get go. Fantastic quality windows & doors!"

"Brilliant service and installation from Austen Allen. I would recommend them without reservation. James made multiples visits to the house to check measuresments and advise us on fittings etc, and he really couldn't have been more professional or helpful. When we had to move back the installation date several times due to other building work, James couldn't have been more accommodating. The night before the installation began, I was amazed to get a call from the fitter, Gaz, who talked me through the schedule and what they would aim to do each day. Gaz and his colleagues began on time, kept to the schedule and did a first class job! When issues arose, Gaz contacted me immediately and got straight back to me when I called him - even offering to come around in the evening to help me out with the new lock on the front door. Great communication! We didn't notice a couple of cracked panels; Gaz pointed these out to us and he came on a Saturday to replace them. We had contacted three other local companies prior to 'stumbling' upon Austen Allen (we spoke to a house owner whose windows we liked), and they'd either given us the hard-sell or quotes that were extortionate. Austen Allen, however, were extremely competitive in their pricing. We will certainly be using them again in the future. Many to thanks to James, Gaz and their colleagues!"

"5 star service from Austen Allen. We've had 1st class top quality supply and fitting of our new double glazing windows and door. The highest quality service and workmanship from you all. Many thanks!"

"Austen Allen did some more windows from me recently and, as always, the installers were prompt, courteous and made a 1st class job. I recommended my neighbours and they were both highly delighted with the bay windows and porch unit, well done Austen Allen, great products, great installation."

"All seemed great when they took the order, promised the full job, replacing existing windows, re-plastering and re-rendering. The didn't do the plastering or rendering and messed me about for 3 months!!! On legal advice I deducted an amount (equal to the cost of bringing in other tradesmen to complete the work) from the final bill which they accepted. I have since found that they didn't fit the correct hinges to the windows (Fire escape ones) and now they are refusing to send me my guarantee and FENSA certificate. I will be taking these cowboys to court - DO NOT USE THEM!"
