Beach Bros Ltd

"We were supplied a mixed selection of different thicknesses, different substrate and different tongue and groove sizes. This obviously caused us great issues when attempting to install and then a weeks delay for them to supply replacement flooring. The disinterest they showed in customer service or even acknowledgment of the error was quite staggering. I will not be returning on principle. The 1868 flooring we ordered is specified to have a birch ply substrate, what we received was not a birch ply substrate. The tolerance of the fit between tongue and groove was frankly laughable and required much more remedial work upon installation than should be expected of a product at this price point. I am quite understanding that mistakes happen and that human error will occur. But I should not be expected as the customer to simply accept that inconvenience and the effect that has on the finished product. On previous visits we were very impressed with the showroom but were quite surprised by the rather lacklustre customer service. We felt like a bit of an inconvenience to them. On one occasion we left having looked at and taken samples of cork flooring that it transpired had been discontinued and was unavailable, we found this out when attempting to place an order. This was a further waste of our time which was once again neither acknowledged nor apologised for. It's a shame, as better customer service would really have resolved all of this and at very little material cost to them."

"Handy for hardwood offcuts up to about 125cm in a variety of dimensions. Helpful staff. Lovely other wood products, if you can afford them!"

"After trying firm after firm to purchase hardwood decking and have it cut to my specifications to no avail, even getting the response that I wasn't worthwhile bothering with from some. I then discovered BEACH BRO Ltd in Exeter. Excellent service from the start to finish nothing was to much trouble. I felt that all the people l dealt with in the course of my order genuinely cared and made me feel l wasn't dealing with a company but a family. Thank you again you will always be my first port of call. George"
