Blockmore Drives & Patios

"Jimmy and team tarmacced my driveway but, unfortunately, they did not properly grade the sublayer. They had quoted to use MOT type 1 but ended up using some kind of cheap rubble. I now have a small "duck pond" in the middle of my driveway whenever it rains. This is a lot worse than it was prior to the work as now I have to negotiate a 4 inch deep puddle every time I get out of the car when it has rained. I complained multiple times and was promised a fix multiple times until he eventually stopped answering calls. If I could go back in time I would have spent more money on a more reputable company and saved myself the headache."

"James came to tarmac my drive at the end of 2025. He promised me to do a really good job, as he was putting leaflets in all the homes close by. Hoping that people passing by will see and get there's done. After he had finished the tarmac, which did look nice from a distance. I found that it not so smooth in some areas, so told him I'm not happy with the result. He said he will give me a call in 3 weeks and if still unhappy will coat it with a product. (Don't know what it was). It is now February and he has never called back to follow up. I tried to call but each time the line was engaged. I'm unhappy with the job and lack of follow up. So make your own mind up about using this company."

"Poor company. If your going to deal with this company. Pay with Credit card to give you protection . Basic drive clean paid in cash . Never came back to finish the job . I'm not bothered. Company not been trading long as shut down . And then restarted. So buyer beware if they don't take a Credit card payment don't deal with them . Shame really as come across really nice when they cold call."

"James gave us a very competitive quote for tarmacking our drive. The job was completed to a very high standard of workmanship all achieved by a highly dedicated hard working team who take a pride in what they were doing. End result we were highly satisfied and would recommend this company. Thanks again James keep up the great work."

"James and his workforce removed the existing resin driveway laying new foundations , hardcore etc and completing all preparation necessary before laying new tarmac to all areas. All rubbish was removed and the area left tidy. Although the team started a day later than originally booked James kept us informed as to the delay and we were always updated as to what was happening. Upon completion a 5year guarantee was provided along with verbal assurances that if we were concerned over anything to give him a call. We are very pleased with the work, the politeness of his team and his honesty. We have no qualms about recommending Blockmore Drives and Patios Ltd. In fact we are hoping to have James and the team back in the new year for further work. A couple of photos taken just after completion ,obv the white will wash off after some rain."
