"We employed Don and his team as he was recommended to us by friends. We had a significant beech tree in our garden which had dropped a number of large branches over the years. We decided to have a survey done as we were concerned about the health of the tree, this revealed considerable decay in the base and roots which meant we had no choice but to have the tree taken down. We then contacted Don and he came round the next day to assess the tree and work out the logistics of removing 15 tonnes of wood out of a garden with very limited access. Within the week Don had come back with a detailed plan which he talked through with us and explained step by step how the job would be carried out. A start date was agreed upon, as was the quote. We were very impressed by the technical abilities of the whole team and the careful handling of the machines used during the work. The job went to plan, with no damage to the surroundings and once the final clear up was comple we could barely see a mark on the lawn. "Ooops my bad. I'd put off having my willow tree pollarded mainly because I couldn't find someone to do it. A chance encounter linked me with company and boy am I glad for it. The site visit happened as per agreed date, the quote agreed and works carried on the date agreed. Access to this site was not easy but these chaps did a great and tidy job. The tree has recovered from it's overdue haircut and is thriving. In short, if you need trees doing, use these chaps."
