"Ollie attended promptly and identified the leaking hot water cylinder. Before starting, he quoted £420 and assured us we would still have cold water throughout the house, just no hot water. The work to drain and isolate the leaking cylinder itself took around an hour. It felt as though Ollie was keen to leave once that was completed, with the remaining 30–60 minutes largely spent because I asked him to recheck several things before he left. I could still hear water flowing into the cylinder and raised this with him, but he insisted there wasn't an issue. I also questioned why we had lost the cold water supply throughout the house, leaving us unable to use the showers, sinks or flush the toilets. Ollie told us there was no way to restore the cold water without the leaking cylinder continuing to leak, so we accepted that as the only option. The following morning, another plumber restored the cold water supply in around 10 minutes while keeping the leaking cylinder isolated, suggesting there was in fact a straightforward temporary solution that had been overlooked. Ollie also tried to charge an additional £15 for a valve, which only added to the frustration. What left the worst impression was that it felt as though our circumstances were being taken advantage of. It was an emergency, it was late, and we had little choice but to accept the quoted price. I fully appreciate that emergency call-outs command a premium, but for £420 I expected more than simply isolating the leak and leaving us without basic access to water. Paying £420 for around an hour's work on the cylinder, while still being left without cold water until another plumber resolved it the next morning, represented very poor value for money and left us extremely disappointed."

"Efficient upfront on time. I am editing this report as it was made initially via my phone on site by my plumber and he gave it a five star report as he told me that reviews sent by me personally would not be received. Just to note I am able to give my own feedback and do not need to have feedback given for me. Just to clarify that I had efficient and prompt service and a quote given to me straightaway ie a £50 call out, a £450 quote for work time, plus a £300+ price for parts completed so I was well aware of the price quoted. I am grateful for work completed, the fact that there are no more leaks and that I have the security that all has been done to my satisfaction. I personally found the price high at £858 but was assured this was a reasonable price so am assuming that other customers have found the price appropriate."

"Ollie was absolutely brilliant. He came out within the hour and arrived exactly when he said he would, which was such a relief as I was really panicked about an active leak. It was quite a complex job, but he brought his pipe-freezing machine, safely froze the pipes, replaced the faulty blue valve/filter (which was the source of the leak), and got everything properly connected and secure. The leak was completely resolved. Ollie was professional, personable, and very friendly. He worked quickly but thoroughly, and also took the time to assess other plumbing issues in the flat, explaining everything clearly.
