Fencing Leeds

"Very poor experience. Very similar to the lady below. Little to no communication after my mum paid the main amount. He said they would start on a Monday - all that week there was no communication apart from a skip arriving. Subcontractors were very apologetic. Two weeks later they were finally able to fit the fence. The subcontractors were amazing but one star for the organisation. Would not recommend."

"We are not wanting to leave a 1 star review, I would have happily have given them zero! Please don't trust this con man! He stole £1700 of our money and did a disappearing act. Then when our bank tried to claim it back, he has emptied his account! Wayne Gomersal came out and gave us a quote, we were happy with that, so we agreed. Wayne then asked for the cost of materials upfront, which we thought was legit. So we transferred £1700, he then gave us a date when he was coming to start! He never showed up, so when we rang him he said he was delayed and would be there in the next couple of days. He still never showed, we constantly had to keep asking when he was coming, then he sent two rather dodgy lads to take our old fence down. We then never heard from him again! We were left with no fence and a dog to worry about! We lost all that money, then had to hire someone else! We are going through the fraud department with the police and trading standards. Compass Fencing but they were known before as Fencing Leeds. PLEASE DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!"

"Quality of work is great, guy that came out was really nice and he got it all finished quickly"

"What an absolute con man! Chased for 3 weeks, kept coming out with different lies. He had the materials and then was waiting on them being delivered. Always us that chased, information was never given, doesn’t answer phone calls. Then sub contracted the job out and didn’t even tell them anything about the job and had materials delivered, not enough materials for the job quoted. So we are out of pocket for extra materials. Then goes back on what we quoted and agreed. Please avoid at all costs! An absolute conman!"

"Alan and Carl did a fantastic job making my small back yard into a secure private space to enjoy. They were quick and I am very pleased with their work. I think the before and after photos speak for themselves. They tidied up at the end of each day as they left. Would highly recommend their services."
