"As a busy woman - I’ve been struggling with the jobs that never get done. My husband was sick fed up of my time being spent trying to do everything in a day. He found Gary and Kris and took the executive decision to bring them in on the never ending project of making this 3 bed semi something to be proud of. The list looks like this: So far Gary and Chris have power washed the monoblock drive and the back garden Sandstone Slabs, bringing them back to brand new. They’ve removed an under stair cupboard - sorting out the plastering and old electrics at the same time. They redecorated both the living room and master bedroom - replacing old skirting and fitting a mural wallpaper as well as all the painting and making the walls and ceiling good. They reconfigured our garden fence to incorporate a new gate opening, which included correcting shoddy workmanship (not mine) and built entrance steps to bring it all together. The removed old gravel and poorly laid membrane then re-laid properly with plumb slate on top. The regrouted the entire Sandstone patio. They helped me when buying floor coverings, to make the best choices and worked along side Gillies unexpectedly to get the job done. Every job has been completed impeccably, they’ve taken my instruction and done each task the right way. Gary and Kris are a father son duo - they’re genuinely, the most positive, proactive, happy tradies I’ve ever experienced. An absolute joy to be around and just an exemplar of what customer service should be. I never truly realised how much my home was making me miserable - Gary and Kris have helped me find peace and love for this wee hoose again ❤️ They’ll be back for more jobs of course and I can’t express how happy I am to know, they’ve got my back and we’re going to get BIG JOABS done."

"We’ve now hired Gary and Kris for more than one project on our home, and writing this review feels like the least we can do to return the favour for the quality of work and care they’ve brought to our house. Let me start with the people, because it matters more than most reviews give it credit for. Having tradespeople in your home for several weeks is no small thing. For a lot of homeowners, that kind of extended presence can feel like an intrusion — your routines disrupted, your space not quite your own. That was never the case with Gary and Kris. They are warm, easy to be around, and genuinely interested in what you want. Being in our home with them there just felt like having two really good people around. Never uncomfortable, never awkward, always considerate. And that consideration showed up in the practical details too. They were meticulous about making sure we could still live in the house while work was ongoing — tidying up properly at the end of every single day, keeping disruption to a minimum, and being thoughtful about how and when different parts of the work happened. That’s not a small thing when you’re living through a project. Beyond who they are as people, what sets Gary and Kris apart is the sheer range of what they can do — and the fact that they manage it all as one cohesive unit. Our projects covered painting and decorating, wallpapering, wardrobe removal and prep work, concrete work including properly filling large holes in the garden, fitting garden steps, installing fencing, gates, and hardware, and coordinating and prepping for other specialist trades to come in. They handled all of it. For us, that last point is huge. We’re time-poor. We have a long list of things we’ve wanted to do to our home and garden for a long time, but the idea of sourcing, managing, and coordinating multiple different trades ourselves felt overwhelming. Gary and Kris solved that problem entirely. They acted as project managers throughout — planning the sequencing of work, making sure the right trades were available at the right time, coordinating everything so that it all happened in the right order and nothing was left waiting on something else. We didn’t have to manage any of that. We just got to watch our ideas come to life. That project management capability is genuinely rare. It’s one thing to be good at a trade. It’s another thing entirely to be multi-skilled across several trades and to be able to manage a project end-to-end, communicate well with clients, plan proactively, and leave the site looking great every day. Gary and Kris do all of that. For anyone reading this who’s in a similar position to us — a long list, limited time, and wanting things done properly — we can’t recommend them highly enough. They helped us make our house feel like a home, and they’ll be our first call for every project we have from here."

"Gary & Kris replaced all the guttering around my property, fitted new U-PVC fascia boards, sanded and cleaned down eaves and applied 2 coats of external paint. All work was carried out to an excellent standard and they genuinely treated the works as though they were working at their own home. Gary ensured all works were fully explained and costs and timelines were always transparent. Highly recommend."

"Excellent service as ever. Garage facia was rotting. Kris stripped out the old wood and replaced it completely and fitted a new motion sensor lamp. The new facia looks fantastic. I've used this firm many times over the past few years for a variety of jobs and the work has always been carried out to a very high standard. Gary and Kris are very friendly and great to deal with."
