"Heat2Cool were very clear to me about their £100 cash call out charge and told me it included an hour of labour during which they would either resolve the issue or diagnose and provide a quote to fix. I was happy with those terms. When the engineer arrived I reminded him about the issue (water hammer) and he spent 10 minutes looking around before phoning his boss. The engineer told me they needed to install an arrestor and would need to quote the job. Then off he went with my £100. After a week I had heard nothing back so I phoned them and decided to ask for at least a partial refund of the call out charge. I was told a manager would call me but nothing. I wouldn’t normally be bothered to write a review but I got another plumber in who confirmed the issue, found the cause and fixed it within 30 minutes. He told me Heat2Cool’s solution of an arrestor would have been a waste of money."
