For those considering a net-zero energy solution, I recommend thorough research, particularly regarding the heat pump installation, which can temporarily disrupt the property for approximately three to four days. The grant application process was handled with remarkable efficiency. The solar panel installation, in contrast, was less intrusive, requiring approximately two days for panel and battery placement, primarily due to inclement weather conditions. I suggest incorporating bird netting around the solar panels in future quotes to prevent nesting, as this was an unforeseen additional expense which I will have to pay out of pocket at some point. Furthermore, I advise clients to independently verify claims made by sales personnel. I was informed that the system would operate during a power outage, a claim I later discovered to be inaccurate, which was a source of considerable frustration. While contacting the installers can be challenging, it is a minor inconvenience in the overall process.. But all in all I would recommend as they were quick and efficient"
