"Had a flat roof replaced by Wrights recently. It wasn’t a simple job as needed new insulation, new guttering and new fascia boards too. I couldn’t fault the men working on the roof- they were friendly, polite, respectful and very knowledgeable and cleaned up any rubbish promptly . Adam was prompt at replying to enquiries and the new roof looks brilliant! Will definitely come back in the future if I need any more works doing."

"EDIT: This review was originally written in September 2021. Review re-submitted for approval after adding more recent detail. .................................................. Absolutely appalling abhorrent behaviour from the roofers that worked for this company back in 2021. They were employed by my landlord to re-do the roofs on the property I live in and I'm sure they were only chosen because they're probably the cheapest (for very obvious reasons). They left their rubbish in the garden daily such as bottles, cans, sandwich wrappers and cigarette butts, as well as their discarded clothing, gloves and other paraphernalia. And they damaged mine and other tenants property in the garden such as plant pots, garden ornaments, storage containers and other things as well as badly damaging the paving by throwing things down from the roof carelessly in a bucket on a rope that was just hurled down... even smashing a section of brick wall to pieces. Also during the completion of their work various items went missing from the garden never to be seen again. What a coincidence! And one of their younger labourers (he didn't look old enough to have actual expertise or qualifications) returned by himself on a Sunday to sneak around the garden and go up the scaffolding by himself? Why was that I wonder???? That seems very professional and totally legal I'm sure! If you have any sense at all do not employ these conmen to do your roof. Chimps could do a better job. And it took them from May 2021 until September 2021 to complete 5 Victorian roofs and a small extension roof. Bad weather or not that's way too long!! All the while they used our communal garden as a tip to dump their waste and store their building materials as though they don't have vans and storage space of their own. But that wouldn't have been a problem if things were stacked up neatly to one side. They literally dumped rubble, wood, slate tiles and nails all over the garden. And left plenty of dangerous mess when they had finished without properly clearing it away. As well as their raised voices daily from 8am; swearing and shouting and carrying on like it's a lads holiday, I had no choice but to put up with their behaviour all summer long. And many of mine and other tenants belongings got damaged or went missing as a result. The whole thing gave me bad nerves and sleepless nights all summer! Those of you with a choice, do not employ these cowboys! Pay more, it will be worth it for a professional and swifter job. As of 2023 there was already problems with the roofs leaking. And a large heavy scaffolding plank was left 4 stories up on a roof only to hurtle down in a storm years later - which could have killed someone. You heard that right. Myself and other tenants narrowly avoided death or serious injury completely unaware items had been left on these very high roofs. As of 2026 myself and other tenants are still finding nails and bits of roofing tile in the garden soil. EDIT: in response to below reply. I didn't actually initially mention the address of the properties involved or the landlord. But I will now! A row of 25 flats in 5 Victorian 4-story buildings on Forest Road West, in the NG7 Arboretum area. Thats 5 large Victorian roofs and one smaller extension roof, so 6 in total. The properties were being managed in 2021 by L and A Capital and Bairstoweves. The scaffolding was put up by a separate company in May 2021 and taken down in September 2021, leaving works to be completed by J Wright Roofing between June 2021 and August 2021 but these dates may overlap into the May and September. If you genuinely don't have records of this that's extremely concerning regarding the legally of income tax for example. I'm not in the habit of writing reviews for companies I've never encountered. I've also now added some photos of the damage done at the time as well as the mess piled up next to my flat, damage to garden walls and damage to paving. Your reply is futile. The damage was done. This isn't a discussion or a negotiation. I hope my review helps others!"

"So these guys are doing roofing down my road and they left a bit of mess, well quite a bit of mess near the park. so I called the office up spoke to a lovely lady was very professional, She understood my concerns and got the mess cleared up within half an hour. Reason why they got five stars was because of her and also of how quick they got the mess cleaned up I mean you don't find that with many companies so my hat off to you done good and I'm happy with how quick the issue was resolved."
