"I had a leak 15 and a half months ago and the works were only just completed recently. Hastings and MA Assist were a complete waste of time but Johns of Nottingham were terrible apart from Everton who painted our living room, he was brilliant and I’ll give him alone 5 stars. Jason however I’m giving him no stars because he measured my bathroom so he could fit a new unit, then didn’t get back to me, I had to chase him and he had to come over again to measure again. Him and MA Assist dragged it out by saying they couldn’t find a bathroom vanity unit to match so I said make a bespoke one. They were using every opportunity to spend as little as possible and because of that, they were wasting time hoping I would say forget it. The drying out fans caused my landing ceiling to flake and crack which wasn’t there before the leak happened. Jason had the audacity to tell Hastings he didn’t think the fans had caused it. This was over turned by the Financial Ombudsman and the ceiling was fixed by Virtue who were amazing at completing the job. What’s laughable is Hastings refused us to renew this year but I wouldn’t renew with Hastings if someone paid me."
