"Kay’s Plumber was a total headache. He didn't even show up for the first appointment we scheduled. When he finally did come out, he was completely unprepared, made a huge mess, and didn't even fix the blockage, but he still charged a ridiculous amount. To top it off, he was incredibly patronizing and kept calling me "darling" even after I asked him to stop. My sink is still blocked and I’m out a lot of money. Avoid."

"More Cowboy than John Wayne, more aggressive than a caged rattlesnake. Don't call them if you're in a jam - No doubt knows a thing or two about plumbing but nothing about after-care. Wanted payment immediately if you dont give them the bigger job they were after. Although polite, the initial attending person didn't fix my leak ( yes I was offered completion the next day) but he damaged my boiler and actually made the leak worse. He only came with a screwdriver to hand? It was stated that a hole was needed to be put into a kitchen cabinet for access which is why I didn't want the work done (the next day, I fixed the leak myself without butchering our kitchen). Quoted "x call out plus x hourly then charged fully for both even though the person was in my house for less than 20 minutes.... I guess I annoyed them for refusing the follow-up but still, I normally pay for what I get not what you think you deserve. I won't be making the same mistake again."

"4-6 weeks earlier- Bombarded Kay and Kamran with a very long list of different types of 'small' jobs (few of them which needed to be done soon) and the list did not faze them. Small jobs can sometimes be more complex as it can uncover unexpected issues in an existing infrastructure- I appreciated Kay's transparency when faced with an issue or problem. Of course, it incured additional charges but atleast the works were completed/made good. They seemed calm, had a step-step plan, took their time & were willing to work out of hours."

"DO NOT TRUST THE GOOD REVIEWS! *I would give this rating a zero if I could* - I have just been to my elderly mothers where this person Kay was called out to repair a leak. He turned the water and electric off. Then proceeded to hammer through the ceiling without identifying where the leak was coming even though the bathroom was directly above the leak. Neither did he identify the issue or fix it. Then proceeded to leave pushing my erderly mother to pay up immediately on a card machine then advising he would invoice my mother £400 call out fee. I had to get a second ‘qualified’ plumber to come out and he identified and he fixed the issue in 10 minutes. My mother was left with no water or electricity in addition to a huge hole in the ceiling nowhere near where the pipes or leak was plus having to clear up the mess he made whacking holes through the ceiling and stairwell. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Cowboy tradesman. Reporting to trading standards. DO NOT USE!"
