"Knights Builders Oxford did an outstanding job renovating our “Spencer House” in Oxford, for the Columbus State University study abroad program. This was a comprehensive project that included reworking the electrical and plumbing systems, installing new radiators, adding insulation, renovating restrooms, student bedrooms and updating all flooring with a mix of carpet and LVP. They also repainted the entire interior, redesigned and raised the kitchen cabinetry with new countertops, and installed new doors and windows to meet updated energy efficiency standards. In addition, they renovated the back garden cottage to provide housing for faculty. On the exterior, they replaced the soil pipes and gutters, installed security cameras, and added new ornamental gates to enhance student safety. What stood out most was the quality of their workmanship and their attention to detail across every aspect of the project. Just as important, they proved to be extremely trustworthy and reliable, something we valued highly given that we are based in the United States and were managing this project from abroad. Communication was consistent, and they handled challenges professionally and efficiently. Jimmy and Stelios were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. "Knights Builders was contracted to turn a disused building which, over 10 yrs ago housed changing rooms for Oxford Football Club, into Oxford's first Hindu Temple. They did a complete gutting and rebuild of the internal structure and then gave the outside a complete facelift. Their work with us was exceptional and we were very pleased with them. They also did not overcharge us, often suggesting and passing on savings to us because they recognised the project was community-funded. Communication through the project was extremely good. "We are very happy how Knights builders implemented a complex structural project, which was the most challenging part in the 1970s 4bd detached house renovation project. They have redone pretty much the entire ground floor - removed inner wall to create an open plan kitchen-dining area (added new archway, blocked the old doorways, removed an inner wall), cut a new window opening, lifted the ceiling, removed stud walls, calculated and installed the new supporting beams, ordered and replaced multiple windows and patio doors. Although the house had some unexpected “surprises” that no structural survey would show, Jimmy and Stelios did wonders to work thru this and find the best possible solutions. All the work planned & windows ordered on a short notice, and demolition & construction done just in a couple of days while we were away on a holiday — with the house cleaned from the dust, showing great care about us residing in it while rest of the works continued. Incredible!"
