"Ive held off saying anything but I’m past being patient and waiting now. Contracted through Linley & Simpson on behalf of my landlord to come and treat mould and put vents into our windows. Let me start with why awarded 2 stars - the quick time they managed to fit us in to do the job and how quick it took for the jobs to be done. 3 stars lost due to lack of care (on the job and how they spoke to us before and after the job), lack of communication and being told purely lies. Here’s why, The treatment they were using for the mould, they stated they didn’t have enough of to cover my property and the property below so they mixed into into white paint to ‘make it go further’, however my walls aren’t white and now I have walls of different colours around multiple rooms of my property which I didn’t expect to be left with. The window vents, after having close contacts to Minster Windows, confirmed some of the new ‘vents’ are in the wrong part of the window so wont actually do their desired job. Whilst moving furniture they knocked and broke my (newly paid off) TV too, luckily I was in the room when it happened as they were talking me through how they would come back in a week or so to paint the walls back the right colour and put back up blinds etc they took fully down once the treatment was fully settled in the walls, otherwise they would have 100% NOT said anything by the look they gave each other and comments they made after about me being in the room! As soon as it happened I’ve never seen 2 people want to leave somewhere so fast. I was told numerous times they would replace it but the two boys doing the job and by “the boss” (Lee Goddard, also one of the lads Dad) on the phone after it happened telling me, in a very patronising way, not to tell the letting agent as we’ll sort it between us or he’ll get in trouble etc etc. Since then I’ve heard from Lee ONCE in March, since Feb when it happened but I was out the country so couldn’t do much, then silence. They’ve even been purposefully avoiding the letting agent about it too. So stuck with a broken TV, broken promises, window vents in the wrong part of the window and walls around the house that are different colours to the rest and what they should be, I understand accidents happen, but making promises to replace the TV then actively ignoring messages (as iMessage tells me you’ve read them, Lee) is making be believe this was all lies and actually the morals of this “company” are backwards or non existent."
