"From the outset I would like to point out that my views & comments relate to NorDan Aberdeen, I can’t comment on the service provided by other locations. In my 37 years in business, I’ve only had the misfortune of dealing with a handful of companies with customer service as poor as NorDan Aberdeen. From the start communication was poor, emails would remain unanswered for weeks, follow-up emails were ignored & leaving voicemails appeared to be the only way to get a response. Eventually I asked for a new contact in the hope things would improve, unfortunately nothing changed & in fact the service provided by the team leader proved to be similar & on occasion worse. In my opinion, NorDan Aberdeen appear to lack any form of senior management which in turn has created a culture without accountability. Over the past few months I’ve spoken with many contractors, professionals & end users about NorDan with virtually all saying the same thing, the product is very good, but the service provided by NorDan Aberdeen is terrible. NorDan I’m so disappointed, we really liked the product, but the terribly poor service provided has forced us to look elsewhere."

"I went in to get some parts for my door. Billy in the parts department was so helpful and a true credit to your team at Aberdeen. Very knowledgeable and knew the part I was describing (very badly!). Thanks again."

"My father bought a new build house with a nordan front door. The locking mechanism keeps jamming and is incredibly stiff, the finish is peeling (both apparently known issues with this model). We have been waiting for 3 months and counting for a replacement door. Strongly recommend using another manufacturer."

"The houses in my street unfortunately all have NorDan doors. I stayed in my house since it was built. Most of the homes here have had problems with the doors soaking up water, becoming rotten and falling apart. On examination it it a combination of cheap mdf and cardboard yes you read correct, the middle part is cardboard. No wonder it fell apart. We had solid wood parts made to replace the rubbish bits that fell off. Its not perfect but better than it was. To summarise, do not buy NorDanyou will end up buying twice!"

"I purchased my doors and window with my house kit from Scotframe. If i had known the poor quality finish I would have preferred another company but sadly they come with the kit...most joiners that have worked at our house have commented on house poor the finished product is.the metal on the window has a sharp edges with no finished paint at end and no caps to cover.after sale service poor also."
