"My Elderly Parents ,were recommended this company by our neighbour .They promptly came out and the boiler was deemed unsafe on Monday 23/03/2026 .My parents are terminal , one on a pathway ,They have Social Workers ,and once you are in a system of Care , you sadly have to budget.The quotes came back ,Social Worker said to get quotes .I got only one other quote from a different possibly one man company.It was cheaper ,I felt really bad as Nortons had been so prompt.The other company wanted half up front ,I was so busy with District Nurse , Care Company ,Etc and indeed one parent needs round the clock care.The other company whilst I was on the internet trying to pay him ,the more he phoned ,the more brain fog I got ,I kept putting in wrong pin .He abruptly ,after previous day he had been Oh I so want to help your parents ,who have conditions affected by cold ,and it was worrying both myself and Social Services, he said, Oh this is not working ,I am afraid I cant help you.I was emotionally upset because although house ok for myself , it was not ok for very ill individuals .I did not get further quotes ,I phoned Nortons back , who could have easily been abrupt ,They had put time and effort ,into attending for safety ,and were prompt in everyway .I cannot praise and Thank them enough ,They came out yesterday and fitted a new boiler ,were prompt ,tidy ,and above all else relieved my emotion of being so worried, to keep my parents in a cold house ,especially at night ,as when temp drops ,if you have heated house prior to sleep ,and then turned off ,house generally stays warm for them .I never thought how psycologically it can affect you to have cold water ,we did use kettles like older times ,We take for granted heating ,water.My mum if she was not on this pathway would have been offering food ,beverages , sadly she cannot ,Once a family who wanted the likes of Bosch etc ,never got quotes ,went with loyalty and a feeling , now are not in that position ,because 10 years of Social Care , dominates.I cannot recommend Nortons enough , The younger man who was here the most was pleasant and personable,efficient all the men ,who were very busy and obviously fitted this in were also pleasant.I know without being naive , its business and another job ,but they could have said no or had us waiting .Thank you"
