"Our journey with Oval began in June 2025 when we reached out for a survey. The whole survey process was really open and informative. Sam and his team were happy to answer (or find answers to) lots of questions. As this is a big investment it was reassuring that they would spend the time having a conversation with us about what we needed and tailoring the design to us and our house. We went back and forth a few times on the design and having long conversations about our needs and their product recommendations. We had our system installed in February 2026 after some DNO delays and structural survey delays. The installation process was smooth from the customer perspective and the installation team was nothing but respectful and a joy to have about the house. 3/4 months after the install and its still going strong and the couple of times we've had minor issues Oval were right there to resolve them. It may have cost us more money, but we got a system designed for our house and our family, rather than an off the shelf textbook install. We're very glad we chose Oval and would recommend them to anyone looking to invest in becoming more self sufficient."

"I had my SolarEdge solar panels, battery and inverter installed by Oval Renewables in November 2024. The installation team were knowledgeable and efficient, and — importantly — they didn’t play loud music as seems to be the norm with tradesmen these days. They were always respectful and tidied up after themselves. The full installation and commissioning took about a working week. There were some initial challenges with the SolarEdge products, but Sam at Oval Renewables pursued SolarEdge relentlessly (while tolerating my constant emails) until everything was updated and fixed. Since then the system has run trouble‑free for over a year. Their after‑sales service has been exceptional, unlike some companies who clearly aren’t in it for the long haul. Oval Renewables are, without question, a five‑star company. At installation time, a sub‑main was run to my garage in anticipation of getting an EV in the future. I bought an EV in May this year, and once the SolarEdge One bi‑directional charger became available, mine was the first one they fitted on 10 May 2026. The physical installation onto the existing sub‑main was straightforward for Dean. Commissioning took a little longer, but after several calls to SolarEdge it now appears to be working exactly as it should. What gives me real confidence is knowing that if I have any queries or future challenges, Oval Renewables will take up the cudgel on my behalf — just as they have done from day one. It’s rare to find a company that stands by its customers so consistently, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."

"Oval were fantastic throughout our solar install. We got 24 panels and a Sigenergy system installed. At the same time I got a new consumer unit installed as well as smoke alarms and some other electrical jobs to ensure I could maximise the use of the new system. They took the time to carefully plan where all the cables would be routed, and how to make the finish as neat as possible. Everything is either inside trunking, or out of sight in ceiling spaces etc. They even relocated some existing electrics to ensure the finish would be super neat and tidy. I’ve been extremely pleased with their attention to detail throughout and their helpful and friendly communication. They are extremely knowledgable about everything solar, they truly live and breathe it. I could not be happier with the result - I would recommend them to anyone."

"Oval Renewables Ltd recently replaced the Consumer Unit in my home, and the result is outstanding. After several renewable installations over the years — Solar PV, battery storage, an EV charger, and an ASHP — my existing consumer unit had become cluttered and outdated. I wanted everything brought up to modern standards to properly protect the more sensitive equipment now running in the house. Oval Renewables were the obvious choice. "I have an existing Solar PV system and heat pump, my house is totally electric and I wanted to have a large capacity Battery installation to take advantage of excess Solar PV electricity and a cheaper tariff so I could charge my battery and then make use of the cheaper energy during the day time. I was recommended by a close friend to ask Oval renewables for quote as my friend was delighted with his recent installation. I felt that I had a very positive response from Oval with a prompt quote and personal visit from Sam (owner) who clearly loves his job, very professional and enthusiastic. I felt my quote was competitively priced using top quality Sigenergy products. I elected to have a nominal 40KV battery, with a 7KW ac EV charger, back up power gateway in case of a grid outage, and fire alarm system, linking into my existing Solar PV system. The installation was carried out in three days by courteous, professional engineers, very approachable, and happy to explain what they were doing. They were very tidy removing all packaging and leaving my garage pristine.
