"Arranged an appointment. Didn't show. Didn't call. Rearranged. He promised to come on time and also promised to contact us if there were any problems. Didn't show. Didn't call. Didn't respond to my message. Disrespectful to think people have time to wait about for no-show tradespeople. In response to your comment, P Adams...I put this on Checkatrade and you accepted the work. You knew where we were. Why accept and then not turn up. Twice? "Combi boiler system in 1964 house. One radiator leaking from joint, having to top up the system regularly and worried about introducing air into the system; two other radiators cold at the base. We have a magnetite filter installed. " Why bother to accept the job?"

"Great plumber, arrived within an hour of me calling him for non-urgent work. Installed an outdoor tap and went above and beyond by helping me out with a couple other bits around the house too which was very much appreciated. Would hire him again"

"After agreeing a time and date (3:30 on 5th March) I sent message at 2:30 to make sure we were still on track. No answer. I called at 4pm, no answer. I sent a message asking if he could do following day, or just let me know if he had no intention of coming. No answer. After driving a 60 mile round trip and taking the afternoon off work /arranging for somebody else to pick kids up from school for nothing, you can understand my frustration. Another plumber now on way and another half a day off work wasted."

"Saturday early morning 25/01/2025, it was -3°C outside, and my house, with a 20-month-old toddler, was freezing cold. I called my insurance company to fix the issue, but they said their earliest availability was on Monday. Then, I found P Adams Plumbing & Heating on Google Maps, where Peter answered my call while parked in his car. He was with his kids, yet he still tried to help me out. I explained the issue and told him I was seeing an error on the boiler. He advised me on a few steps to try but eventually asked if we could do a WhatsApp video call so I could show him the boiler. Peter spent some time patiently explaining what to do, and I followed his instructions step by step. Guess what? The hot water and heating system started working again! I’m absolutely amazed that there are people like him, and I couldn’t thank him enough. He didn’t even want to be paid for his help. I just can’t believe someone could be so genuine and kind. Thank you so much, Peter. My toddler is now having a warm bath, and my family is warm again. I would recommend him to everyone, and I hope people treat him well for his incredible kindness."
