Not only did he quickly fix the issue with my smoke detector, but he also went the extra mile by identifying that my smoke and heat detectors were not interconnected. I had no idea this was a requirement, and he took the time to explain everything in simple, easy-to-understand terms, including the Scottish regulations and why interconnected alarms are important. He also explained that, in the event of a fire, having a non-compliant alarm system could potentially affect an insurance claim, which was invaluable information. He was extremely tidy, respectful of my home, and left everything spotless when he finished. His polite, approachable, and humorous manner made the whole experience very pleasant.
