"The guys at Preferred Joinery did an outstanding job of building and installing not one but two sets of stairs in my small cottage in Preston Brook. The service and communication from start to finish has been reliable and consistent. Carlee working in the office has responded promptly to every email which is so important when you’re trying to coordinate jobs and contractors on a renovation. I would not hesitate to use them again and strongly recommend them for value for money. On the day, Dave and John had to negotiate a steep hill and a fair walk before they reached the property. They were friendly and efficient throughout. The installation was relatively straightforward apart from having to deal with uneven floor levels which they managed proficiently. Again communication on the day was clear and consistent. Thanks guys. I’m just sorry I couldn’t offer you a coffee and a bacon butty."

"Brilliant from start to finish! Preferred joinery guided us through all the steps for getting sash windows fitted to the front of our house. They put us in touch with an architect for planning drawings, removed and encased old stain glass in double glazing and kept us updated throughout making the windows. We are so pleased with the windows and the fitters were great. No hesitation in recommending them. Thanks to the whole team."

"Just had some work done by preferred joinery. I had a sash window that was falling apart due to wood rot . Also another sash window with less severe changes. I live in listed building in Georgian quarter , so everything has to be done to standard . Ordering , site visit were fine and then had to wait a few weeks for window to be made in workshop . I upgraded to hardwood and also invisible double glazing. Guys came and the new window was installed in a day , painted in position and looks great . My bedroom is now much quieter and hopefully will be warmer and draught free. In winter. Am really pleased as the window looks great and works really well . These sorts of window are not cheap, but I've had an upgraded window ."

"Absolutely delighted with my new door and replacement windows . The door , with its stained glass window, is a copy of the original Edwardian door . The windows are now double glazed new versions of the original windows . Preferred Joinery do a great job and their attention to detail is second to none .
