"We needed a couple of spare keys yesterday and so my Other Half popped down to a well-known firm of locksmiths and key cutters. Suffice it to say that their first effort didnt fit without a lot of wiggling it around to get it into the lock, and a lot more to get it out. Ditto their second attempt, at which point I put my foot down and demanded that she go to the bloke with the key cutting booth inside Prestige launderette in Walm Lane. I'd used him before and he'd done a decent job and, voila, the keys he cut fitted like gloves, every bit as good as the originals. Moral: The booth may be small, the guy may be a one-man band but, by golly, he's the go-to guy next time you want a copy key."
