"We recently had Prokill attend our property to carry out damp works downstairs along with some works outside the property. It's important to add, the photos I've attached are after each day was completed. I understand these works are messy but these were taken after each day. It's also important to add some of the team were brilliant and a joy to work with, including helping us move in and support with other things, unfortunately this job was let down by other team members and Andrei. This is also just my personal review, I can see they have had positive reviews in the past but my personal experience was bad. I noticed they had issues in the past but that looked to have resolved itself recently but from what we experienced, I would agree with the older reviews and sadly wouldn't recommend Prokill. The only time floor coverings were laid was day 1. No coverings were placed upstairs or on the stairs. Just downstairs. The team didn't tidy up after themselves, at all. They had access to a small wooden broom but this was it. The team used our towels as floor protectors and our kitchen cloths as wipes. Leaving us to wash them. When installing the extractor fan in the bathroom no protection was used, I've attached a photo of this, our belongings were destroyed. When I put this to Andrei his response was 'its your responsibility to protect your belongings' something that contradicts there advertising when they say they lay protection and suitable working areas. We were quoted for scaffolding but they turned up with a tower and ladders, they used our ladders, something I didn't mind, but it felt really cheeky charging us for scaffolding when we didn't actually get it. The tower was literally wobbling all over the place and was being supported by two bags of cement on the left hand base. It was not safe, at all. We have bubbling in the plaster work, something Andrei said is the reaction of materials. A quick Google of this clearly states it's due to poor mixing and poor application. We have cracks, holes, gaps and splits pretty much everywhere. The workmanship in the corners is awful and you can see it's been rushed. They used our skip but charged us for disposal of rubbish. I asked the team countless times to stop using our skip as it was close to the fill line but they continued. I ended up just giving up asking. On the first day one of the team told them to stop using it, but we never saw that team member again and since he left, things just went sour. They didn't put the radiators back on correctly which resulted in leaks and us having to have a plumber out at 10pm to fix the issue. I have mentioned the above to Andrei and he has deducted some off of the final invoice but nowhere near enough to warrant what happened during the works. The job actually started well but as it progressed it just got worse and worse. It felt like Andrei was trying to deflect all of the blame and when we discussed things on the phone like cleaning up, keeping work space tidy, being respectful of someone's home, he just couldn't understand or see my point and kept deflecting my comments. If you plan to use Prokill in the future, please feel free to reach out to me through this review and I can supply any further photos or comments that might be helpful to you. Sadly though, we wouldn't recommend."
