"Seems to be having some problems here, last year was very helpful, this year not so much, seemed a bit dismissive on the phone. Indoor garden centre almost half empty, a garden centre with no wheelbarrows? and not able to do home deliveries for weeks. Shame was going to make a big order, but will go elsewhere now, most stuff is overpriced anyway."

"We love the cafe here. Its spacious and spotless . The food is lovely. We really like the homemade soups and the prawn and crayfish jacket potatoes. The cakes are delicious I really like the Eccles cakes."

"Brilliant value. I was buying a lot of bags of compost, without me needing to ask, one of the staff helped me with it, even loading it into the car. I should have asked his name so I could mention here. Recommend this place without hesitation."

"Visited the outdoor plant section on 10th June 2026 where assistant Graham was very helpful and informative about the type of plants I was looking for. The assistant at the till was friendly and helpful and she provided me with a plant tray to carry the plants. The gift section had a variety of good quality gifts and the cafe looked inviting ( didn’t have time to try). Really impressed, will call again and highly recommend."

"Nice cafe. Friendly staff, not many plants in the centre. Cafe was busy but service was swift. The food from the main menu was better than the special which I had - that being the Caesar wrap. The wrap was tiny, cold and underwhelming. The fish and chips from the main menu was very good. If going again I would only choose from the main menu. Coffee and cakes always look good from here."
