"Diana and I are very pleased with our Drive project. Somcrete have blended their work in with the existing 50+year old stonework in a very clever way that has enhanced the original to give a very impressive and pleasing overall appearance. Sean takes the time to do the job thoroughly - every detail is properly addressed and attended to. The original tarmac and the underlying ground had to be scraped away to make room for a 100mm (4 inches) layer of concrete. Adequate provision was made to resist cracking from possible movement of the underlying ground and expansion and contraction from temperature variations. I know that a high grade of reinforced concrete was used throughout. The concrete work was only completed two months ago so its early days but we are confident that it is durable and will last for many more years."
