"I had an old House alarm which hadn't been used for a longtime which suddenly starting ringing incessantly. In panic I called Sonic Alarms and their response was excellent. Even though I wasn't a customer they arranged for an engineer to call within the hour. He was calmness personified and removed the old alarm very quickly and restored calmness to the street. All for a very reasonable charge. I can't speak highly enough of Sonic Alarms."

"**Updated** Since posting my original, 1* Review below a senior representative from the company got in touch and discussed my concerns. They acknowledged there were a number of areas for improvement and constructively accepted where they could of improved their service and approach with my property. They have since shared with me a copy of an internal memo, which they assert has been distributed to their staff dealing with the issues raised. Its a demonstrable sign of a company that if they have complaints how they're dealt with, and they would seem to have made effort to correct deficiencies in their process. However, I no longer have any requirement for their services and have replaced, in totality the original alarm system which caused this headache at considerable personal time, and obvious expense so I cannot verify if these changes have made any improvement. However, to be fair I have uprated the review in light of what I've seen and to enable any existing or new customers information to judge for themselves. "Not a company I can in any way recommend. I bought a property for which Sonic had previously maintained the alarm system. The company refused to transfer or reimburse the remaining time on the maintenance contract to myself or the previous owners. When I approached Sonic requesting the installer codes (in order to change the deafening armong/ disarming volumes of the alarm inside the property-due to the effect it was having on my children) I was told unequivocally that would incur a callout charge of £85. Needless to say the alarm has been removed and replaced, and the alarm sounder on the side of my house that proclaimed the company has also been replaced. In the process I discovered that the alarm panel was only held on with one screw, and the maintenance records for the system was a dynotape label on the battery. Labelling and record keeping was non-existent. I won't be bullied by any company for electronic device passwords and I suggest you look to other companies for your security needs." needs.""
