"Can't fault SY Ecofit and would thoroughly recommend their services. SYEcofit gave an informative and detailed assessment of my house with a comprehensive report to help me plan a phased approach to improving its energy efficiency. We agreed on a plan of works and the team came to install insulation to the eaves and on the cellar ceiling to reduce draughts and improve the temperature of the house. At every stage, things were explained clearly and comprehesively. Having the team in the house was a delight - they were friendly, considerate and efficient, and tidied up thoroughly before they left. There was one small element of the work that I wanted to see finished better and they quickly and courteously sent one of the team to finish the work to my requirements. I feel like I learnt a lot throughout the process and am very glad I chose SYEcoit."

"We asked ecofit to complete a review of our house, with some specific targets in mind - we had always had issues with warm air being flushed out of the house on a cold windy day, and the property had previous work that led to vents being blocked up. We were also keen to have our chimney breast being removed to open up space on both floors. Claire, at Ecofit, came to complete an assessment and made recommendations. She appeared very knowledgeable, and was clearly dedicated to making our home improvements in a way that uses more environmental materials to enhance our energy efficiency, but keeping the right amount of ventilation. Having done a fair amount of searching in this, she was able to thoroughly answer all of our complicated questions so we clearly knew the team were working to make the project eco. I have seen other companies saying their aims are similar, but post pictures that don't support their claim. Claire produced the plan for our home, and we had booked a date 2-3 months down the line to go ahead with the project. We chose to use Ecofit's team to complete all of the building work. After speaking to many of the team members, I feel this was the right decision, as the team had clearly been trained in how to ensure air-tightness measures are done, which requires a great attention to detail. The team did a great job removing the chimney breast, insulating and draft proofing the floor after removing the original floor. Only one or two tasks were contracted to other teams, which our project lead from Ecofit ensured their timings were inline with other parts of the project. They kept their and our team's safety at mind, and were vigilant to be on watch for possible asbestos. We decided to live on site at the time of the work. This was more cost effective for us. It was obviously a bit dusty at certain stages of our project, but the team did what they could to minimise disruption. It was also a pleasure to meet and have Roscoe and his team who were working on the house; they were always polite, and if I needed to have a virtual meeting for a short period, they would keep quiet for that time. We noticed improvements quite quickly following the new floor - now on windy days our house is much warmer. Even though we had a very air leaky floor before, we feel that the air quality seems to have improved. We really appreciate the work Ecofit have undertaken. The communication with the team throughout the project was impeccable, the building lead always contacted us whenever a decision needed making and someone was always on hand to answer any questions. We paid in installments in 2 week periods, but only for the work that had already been completed."

"We had a brilliant experience with Ecofit. We started with a crawlspace survey and it was really thorough, exploring all aspects of moisture and heat movement to work out the best plan for us. They installed an extra air brick in a really difficult spot, and then insulated under our living room with sheep's wool. The team were friendly to have in the house, and you could tell they both new their stuff and cared about the work - it wasn't just a job to tick off, but making a family home more comfortable and energy efficient. Impressed that they took a more holistic view, looking at other issues in the basement such as airflow and damp.
