"I am leaving this review on behalf of my Grandad who doesn’t do the internet but wishes to praise Hugh. My Grandad had bed bugs. From the first phone call right through to treatment & aftercare, Hugh was calm, provided reassurance and understanding. Hugh understood how traumatic it was for my Grandad and put his mind at ease immediately. Hugh does heat treatment which is the only way to actually kill bedbugs. My Grandad had been messed around by another pest control guy who did 3 spray treatments and it was so traumatic as it didn’t work. Hugh was a life saver. He was good value for money too in comparison to other companies. He uses unmarked vans so your neighbours won’t know and he’s most effective and efficient. One heat treatment, 8 hours out the house, and you have your sanity, your life and your home back! My Grandad 100% recommends Hugh’s services. The pest control world can be hard to decipher (methods/ No. of visits required, he said/ she said), vary in extortionate quotes etc. Just call Hugh. Price wise, effective treatment wise, kind customer service wise - he’s the ticket! Look no further. The way he looked after my Grandad, if I ever had bedbugs I’d only ever call Hugh. He’s a great guy to know and he takes the trauma and high emotions and instills a beautiful calmness to the whole situation. Thank you Hugh for helping my Grandad with those awful critters!"

"The dread of having bed bugs in our house was overwhelming, I didn’t really know much about how intrusive they were and how problematic they could be . After some internet research looking at reviews I whittled it down to a few companies and spoke with them all . "Brilliant service. Thank you Hugh. Like many of you we struggled to accept this had happened to us and where it came from We persevered with other methods and attempts to rid ourselves of a limited and yet disturbing infestation. Called Hugh and he was with us within a few days. He gave good explanations of what he needed to do and why (much of which can be seen on the website). The heat treatment definitely worked and in the same day. The follow up appointment was also pain free. Will definitely immediately recommend to anyone else we learn has this same problem"

"We initially phoned Hugh thinking we might have a bed bug problem, but after describing what we'd seen, he was confident it was actually fleas - and he was absolutely right. Within an hour of our call, we’d trapped two fleas using sticky pads on the bed, and have since caught two more. Thanks to his advice, we immediately got started on washing everything, hoovering thoroughly. We have also bought flea killer spray which we've started to use on skirting boards and bedding/carpet etc. We also tried the hot water and lamp trap method (four bowls overnight). While we didn’t catch anything that way this time, we’ll give it another go tonight.
