"We had our wedding reception at the Orangery at Goldney Hall and honestly, it was the most perfect day. We’d really struggled to find a venue that wouldn’t feel too big or empty for our 45 guests, but the Orangery was just right. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and we were lucky enough to have the wisteria in full bloom on the day, which made everything feel even more magical. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful it was. One thing to be aware of is that students do use the grounds, so there were quite a few people around. That said, everyone was very friendly and respectful, they happily moved when asked by our photographer, so it didn’t cause any real issues. The catering by Parsnip Mash was absolutely delicious. They were fantastic with dietary requirements and incredibly accommodating for our guests with allergies. They even created a bespoke arancini starter for us, which was such a special touch as it’s one of our favourite dishes. The only downside is that they don’t offer tastings beforehand, so we didn’t know what to expect until the day itself. All of the staff were so warm and professional, and the service throughout was top notch, many of our guests commented on how great it was. In the lead up, Abigail at Parsnip Mash was friendly, organised, and really helpful. On the day, Verity handled the venue coordination and made sure everything ran smoothly. The only slight hiccup was that, because different people handled the planning and the day itself, a few details didn’t make it through in the handover. However, Verity was quick to resolve everything, so it didn’t impact our day, just something worth keeping an eye on. Overall, it is on the pricier side compared to some other venues we looked at, but if you’re after something unique with a real wow factor, the Orangery at Goldney Hall truly ticks all the boxes. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend"

"What a gem! I photographed a wedding here last year and it was just stunning. Such a surprise, tucked away in Clifton, you enter via a very unassuming gate in the street only to be welcomed by the most stunning orangery with beautiful landscaped gardens. So many stunning backdrops for photographs. This venue will be sure to wow your guests!"
