Top Notch Sash Windows

"Jon has been brilliant - we were looking for a specialist in historic buildings who would take care of the original fabric and preserve the aesthetic of our period property. Jon was informative, adopted a repair-first approach, and carried out the work to a very high standard. We are delighted with our windows, especially the historic glazing which has kept the character of the house. Highly recommended."

"I can’t recommend Topnotch enough. Decent price, excellent workmanship and professional throughout. I was required by the council listed buildings department to replace the sashes in the bay windows of my seafront flat. Jon Davis understood all the requirements. Before he could start the work, an ingress of water was discovered in the flat below mine and as part of the Freeholder’s surveyor’s recommendations work was required on my window sills, responsibility for which the lease demises to me. Jon consulted the surveyor to clarify what he was stipulating and did the work to the surveyor’s satisfaction while installing the sashes. A couple of days later I noticed that some birds had pecked away at some of the putty on the outside of the windows. (Rare but not unheard of!) I contacted Jon and he came round quickly to fix up the work, without a quibble. Throughout all of this he was utterly professional, showed enormous patience but was always friendly. A joy to work with. Top Notch indeed!"

"Super pleased I found John at Top Notch! The work he did on my Hove flat, renovating my sash windows, was superb! It's really made a difference to how it looks. He's a super nice guy and great comms throughout. Highly recommended!"

"We have nothing but good things to say about Top Notch! Aside from the great quality of work, Jon has always gone over and beyond his remits from the very start. Our house is a Grade II listed property and Jon was always very careful with the existing fabric of the house. He is pleasant, friendly and professional at all times (our dog especially loves him)! Do use this company, it's a full 5 star recommendation from us!"

"Jon renovated all of the sash windows in our flat. After discussing with Jon we had double glazing installed on all the windows. He did a great job and it has has made such a difference. Our flat is now quieter and the windows no longer drafty. I would recommend this business Jon produced a competitive quote, is polite and friendly and worked wonders on our sash windows."
