Vickers Roofing Ltd

"Did some repair work to a firewall. Chris was very helpful and because I was on a budget suggested he tried doing a cheaper fix to see if this would solve the problem (water ingress to front bedroom). Chris explained that if this did not work the fire wall would need to be rebuilt with new capping but he would happily quote for this and even discount the original repair (I would not necessarily expect this). Unfortunatly the original repair did not work. Chris came back to take a look but despite me chasing several times has not provided a quote to rectify the situation and has not responded to any phone messages or emails. Obviously very disappointing that the original repair did not solve the problem and that Chris has not quoted or been in touch since. I could not recommend Vickers Roofing based on this."

"We commissioned a full re-roof on our listed cottage, and the entire experience was handled with an impressive level of professionalism, precision, and due diligence. From the outset, the team demonstrated a thorough understanding of the regulatory requirements and conservation considerations associated with a listed property, ensuring full compliance whilst maintaining the architectural integrity of the building. Their communication was consistently articulate, transparent, and reassuring. The craftsmanship is exemplary—meticulous attention to detail is evident throughout, and the finished roof is both aesthetically sympathetic and structurally superb. A highly competent, courteous, and exceptionally reliable team whom I would not hesitate to recommend."

"Vickers Roofing Ltd did a brilliant job from start to finish. The team were professional, reliable, and clearly take pride in their work. Communication was great throughout — they turned up on time every day, kept everything tidy, and made sure I was happy with the progress. The quality of the roofing work is excellent and finished to a really high standard. I’d definitely recommend Vickers Roofing Ltd to anyone looking for a trustworthy, skilled roofing company. A proper local firm that delivers what they promise."

"We have used Chris for many years for our roofing work. He is highly regarded amongst Roofers and other trades alike. His standard of work and experience in the trade is second to none. You won’t find a better Roofer and I’ve used a lot over the years. A genuine nice guy who is passionate about his work and always goes the extra mile."

"Vickers Roofing damaged our property by leaving the job they took on. We were told they are closing down their business due to financial troubles. They meant to give us a new roof and front dormer in three weeks. Instead, they dragged the job for five months before they decided to leave it unfinished. Currently half of our roof is covered with tarpaulin as there are no tiles on that part, including the badly and partially built new dormer which has to come down according to a carpenter. Water gets in when it rains coursing further damage and it feels like living in a tent when it is windy. We definitely and absolutely do not recommend them, in my opinion what they did to us is criminal."
