Victorian Sash Windows Ltd

"Matt at VSW has been a pleasure to deal with. We are happy with the final install and our home now looks fantastic with the new sash windows. We had a few issues along the way (what project doesn't have issues!) which were handled effectively and it was evident that Matt and team wanted to make sure that we were happy. Pricing was competitive and we would recommend VSW for bespoke timber sash windows."

"I was promised noise and cold reduction with three new wooden sash windows: the first one is still very stiff to open & close a year after installation and there is absolutely no difference in noise reduction: I can hear what people say on the street, the cars and planes just as I did before with single glazed ones. Furthermore the Fensa certificate can only be downloaded by paying a fee which seems unfair given the cost of the windows. There was also a considerable delay from order to installation. This is a shame because the staff seem very professional. Mik the installer deserves special mention."

"I would recommend Victorian Sash Windows. I recently had all 4 of the wooden sash windows in my flat replaced and upgraded to double glazing. I liked the fact that it is a family business, mum helps out by delivering bits and bobs whilst the two brothers manage the joinery and fitting along with their fabulous team. I also liked visiting their workshop to see my windows being made. Their communication was excellent throughout, always responding to messages and calls. Be aware that replacing windows is a dusty business. The team did their best to keep things tidy and limit the dust. They covered the stairs, floors and furniture well and vacuumed as they worked. However I under-estimated the sheer volume of debris generated and would advise getting professional cleaners after the window installation. To summarise, Victorian Sash Windows delivered quality craftsmanship with sturdy hardware at a fair price. My flat feels more peaceful and insulated whilst still retaining the historic character of the conservation area. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication."

"We used Matthew at Victorian Sash Windows to replace all our dated uPVC windows to traditional wooden sash windows and we couldn't be happier. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Matthew's professionalism and expertise were evident from our first meeting. He took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and provided excellent advice on the best options for our home. The quality of the workmanship was exceptional. The new sash windows not only look stunning but have also significantly improved the insulation and overall comfort of our house. The installation process was smooth and efficient, with minimal disruption to my daily routine. His installation team (especially Mick) were also great. Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matthew and his team."

"I recently had TSW replace all the windows in my Victorian house in Tooting. Matthew provided a neat description/presentation of all works to be carried out and explained the technicalities of different timbers and mechanisms. No hard sales pitch or pushy buy now attitude. The team installed the windows on time working around my individual needs room to room and left the house tidy each day. All managed by Alan. I have been left with windows that each resemble individual works of art so much so I am hesitant to put my old curtains back up. We would recommend to anyone. Thank you Traditional Sash Windows Ltd. Great Job"
