Had a pretty horrible experience here specifically thanks to Ralph, but the slim buzzcut man was already unwilling to help before handing me over to Ralph and leaving. I had rang before coming in, asking for their rates by glass size and thickness and did calculations to know my budget. When I arrived I let them know that I'd like many small sheets of cut glass as mentioned on the phone, they gave me a total price that was 4x the calculation to which I contested. I had a notebook with me with calculations from our phonecall that I was more than happy to share and discuss with Ralph, he looked at me funny, thought I was joking basically told me to f* off, his demeanor was agressive and unnerving and made me very nervous, almost bullying me to pay or leave. I mentioned that this is the rate I was told over the phone, I was willing to spend some more but 4x was not something I could or would do. I understand if they are used to cutting larger sizes for storefronts etc., and if they needed to bump up the price a bit, but this couldve been explained verbally without intimidating me, telling me to leave, scoffing and mocking me and ignoring my while I stood in their store. Nasty behaviour. I went to a great glass shop on Haverstock Hill instead, I highly recommend. They were friendly, polite and I paid a third of what Ward Glass were bullying me to pay, all round much better service than Ward Glass."
