We wanted all the window seals changed, they could of made a fast buck out of us but advised us that we don't need to replace them all. These guys are a lovely, friendly family run business who have the right morales and attitude to run a business. "Really poor experience, will be finding somebody else in future. We used the window doctor last year to put hinges on some of the windows and all went well (despite a very long wait for an appt), so we went to them again to put restriction hinges on some other windows. The first appt was marked down wrong so had to be rescheduled - inconvenient, but mistakes happen. The second appt the engineers were great, we discussed what we wanted but they didn’t have them in the van so ordered them and arranged to come back in a 2 hour time slot later that week, and install new, standard handles on the windows as well. The engineers on the 3rd appt arrived an hour early and said they could not come back later, in the original agreed time, so my partner had to stop working to be available as I wasn’t home. They weren’t aware of the handles, but fit the hinges as agreed. They then said they didn’t have any handles on the van and would have to come back to fit them. They left debris/bits on the window sills, and screws on the floor that my baby could have gotten hold of, or somebody could have stepped on. They also stepped on the baby’s mat with their shoes on, before throwing all of the baby stuff out of the way (rather than eg asking my husband to move it - I would have moved things out of the way before they arrived had they come later as scheduled). They also took off the blinds on one of the windows and didn’t replace them. I really regret going ahead when they arrived early, and the lack of respect for my baby’s items and leaving a choking hazard where she could get it was especially disturbing. I declined a follow up to fit the handles as it wasn’t urgent and I’m not interested in dealing with this company again."
